While she carries superficial resemblance to an average Raen woman, Yam is much taller, with her scale pattern much different to the normal Raen shapes. Her build is that of muscled runner, heavily marked by scars. She tends to be a little bit grubby, smelling of the outdoors (in a pleasant or unpleasant way, depending on the day). Her teeth are somewhat longer and sharper than average and her tail's no less a formidable weapon; long, heavy, and clublike in shape and form. Those attuned to aether may notice that hers is especially strong, with a dominant levin aspect.for the new:
Yam is an extremely passionate, instinctual person. Whatever opinion she holds, she feels very strongly about it, probably to the point of bullheadedness. She prefers to reduce things to their simplest pieces, though she's far from unintelligent. She's generally fairly outgoing and playful, though she does spend long stretches of time out on her own and may struggle with social interaction at times while she's remembering how to talk to people. Her accent is explicitly Hingan, though she will understand and respond to a fair number of languages.

Yam likes to spend large chunks of her life in the wild, chasing beasts and large animals of various kinds. Continental divides rarely serve a barrier, and she'll be found in the wilds tracking hunt marks for weeks at a time. Maybe you'll spot her out there...the combatant:
She really just likes fighting. Physical combat or battle prowess is the fastest way to impress her, get her attention, or interest. Just challenge her; she's almost never going to say no.the allagan:

Much as she likes living off the land like a lone wolf, Yam does eventually come to nearby cities to find new leads, restock on supplies, and remember how to socialize. Without a whit of healing magic to her name, she might need to solicit a healer to mend whatever broken bones and new cuts she's acquired while out there. She also needs gil to do all that, so she's plenty happy to do any odd task or job that will earn her a bit of coin to survive off of.
